Aw Yeah Revolution! (also called Revolution: Aw Yeah!) is a out of continuity comic book miniseries published by IDW Publishing in 2017. A humorous spoof of the Revolution crossover event targeted at young (and young-at-heart) readers, it is written and drawn by Art Baltazar, one half of the creative team of other such funny, kid-oriented reimaginings like Tiny Titans, Superman Family Adventures, and Itty Bitty Hellboy.

Because of the presence of Transformers characters, this series is being covered by TFWiki.net; see TFWiki's Aw Yeah Revolution! page for full issue summaries.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Microspace tyrant Baron Karza sets his sights on the greatest power on the universe, bringing him into conflict with the Micronauts, the Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Rom!

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • "Aw Yeah!" is a commonly-shouted catchphrase in Baltazar's comic works, originating as the catchphrase of the Tiny Titans—"Aw Yeah Titans!"—and later becoming the title of Baltazar's series, Aw Yeah Comics! It is also the name of a comic book store Baltazar co-owns.
  • Though it only wound up being three issues long, the series was originally solicited for five issues. This change in plans was likely the reason for the extensive four-month delay in the release of issues #2 and #3.

    • Interestingly, the trade abandoned the "Revolution" in the title and instead went with "Hasbro Action Figure Jam", perhaps due to the length of time since the Revolution event and the fact that the next "big event" was being published at the time.
