Twenty thousand years prior to 2017, the Eukarian starship Axalon was shot down by Shockwave over what would become Brasnya.

During World War II, Sgt. Savage and Garrison Kreiger allied with the last surviving Eukarian, Centurion to help him reach the Axalon. Together, they travelled to Brasnya, where they eventually discovered the wreckage of the ship. The abandoned glacier soon became a battleground between Centurion, a horde of IRON Troopers, and the reanimated body of Domitius Major. The residual Talisman energy within the craft activated and teleported the Axalon (with Savage inside) away, leaving a large crater behind. Strange Visitors TFWikiFavicon.png Seeking to possess the Talisman for himself Kreiger built himself an evil lair beneath the crater to hold pieces of Talisman technology which he used to create lesser copies of the device. The Iron Klaw TFWikiFavicon.png Power and Glory TFWikiFavicon.png After the war, Brasnyan spies smuggled IRON Troopers parts out of the country and into the United States of America via the United Kingdom before Action Man put a stop to that. After finding the genuine Talisman in Egypt during the 1980s, The Secret of the Mummy's Tomb TFWikiFavicon.png Kreiger had it moved to his Brasnyan facility where he studied it under the government's approval. After a decade, his experiments were shut down in 1994 after they seemingly resulted in the death of Mike Power but not before the final experiment caused the Axalon to rematerialize (with Savage still inside). When Eagles Scream TFWikiFavicon.png In truth however, Power had survived and slowly became one with the base as his body was increasingly replaced by Talisman prosthetics. During the early to mid 2000s, Brasnya campaigned for independence for Russia creating a volatile political climate. Megatron's infiltration unit sought to inflame these tensions to try and initiate a global conflict. The ruse worked until the Autobots intervened, the sight of giant robots beating each other up stunned both armies and they subsequently stood down. Escalation TFWikiFavicon.png

After hacking into the security systems of I.R.O.N., Garrison Blackrock found out about Kreiger's Brasnyan base. Strange Visitors TFWikiFavicon.png After the Revolutionaries had called upon M.A.S.K. as extra muscle, they stormed the compound. Within, Action Man found the still living Mike Power and convinced him that what he was doing was wrong. Repentant, Power deactivated himself, allowing the team to capture Kreiger. The final release of Talisman energy had the unexpected side-effect of materializing the (once again) time lost Sgt. Savage. Power and Glory TFWikiFavicon.png

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Brasnya was created for the 2006 miniseries The Transformers: Escalation.
  • The name is probably a take on "Grozny", the capital of Chechnya, a federal subject of Russia which has a violent history of separatism.
