A name that might be the one good thing to come of Scarlett's Strike Force's cancellation.

The first vehicle to come of G.I. Joe gaining access to M.A.S.K. technology, the Jeep-pocalypse (Working Title) is an oversized, offroad 4WD that can convert into a hovercraft!

Fiction[edit | edit source]

The construction of the vehicle that would eventually be called the Jeep-pocalypse was a collaboration between Cover Girl and former M.A.S.K. leader Matt "Spectrum" Trakker.

As Roadblock prepared to mount a mission to investigate Cobra activity in the North Pole, the vehicle's potential led to him choosing Cover Girl as part of his field team. As Lift Ticket delivered the Joe team to their mission, Cover Girl and Roadblock drove the vehicle out the back of his Tomahawk, falling most of the way before breaking their fall by activating the vehicle's hover mode. Roadblock questioned Cover Girl waiting until the last second but she explained she didn't have a choice, as the hover capabilities were limited when the driver wasn't wearing a Mask. Eventually the raptors were scared off by the appearance of an anklyosaurus, which then clubbed the vehicle with it's tail. This damaged it enough to necessitate the Joes taking a break while Cover Girl repaired it. During this assault, Cover Girl first came up with the name "Jeep-pocalypse", though neither she nor Spitfire were quite happy with it. Scarlett's Strike Force #3 TFWikiFavicon.png

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • While modeled on the 1993 "Dino-Hunter" vehicle, the early cancellation of Scarlett's Strike Force, meant that the Jeep-pocalypse was never able to be bestowed with this name. However, the Jeep-pocalypse does have some notable differences from the Dino-Hunter, mainly that it's a transforming jeep rather than a six-wheeled tank thing with a grappling hook cannon.
