Sometimes I feel so alone and resent
Sometimes I don't know where to turn
Or who to call my friend...
But I'm okay! (I'm okay!)
I've got faith in myself!

Stormer is the stage name of Mary Phillips, the keytarist and songwriter for The Misfits. While her caring and compassionate nature stands in sharp contrast to her bandmates, Stormer has nevertheless come to serve as the heart and soul of The Misfits and her songwriting skills have defined their sound. Though she often disagrees with their cutthroat approach to gaining success, Stormer still cares very deeply for her fellow Misfits and has a somewhat love-hate relationship with the band's frontwoman Pizzazz.

Recently, Stormer has become romantically involved with Kimber Benton, keytarist for The Misfits' chief rival Jem and the Holograms. She is also the sister of Craig Phillips.

Mary Phillips had a passion for music from a young age, writing and singing her own songs from while she was as young as 8. However, the fact that she was overweight led to her often being teased by her classmates for her musical ambitions. Our Songs Are Better: Part 2

Undeterred, Mary continued chasing her dreams as she grew into adulthood and became lead singer of the band Glow Slap, channeling her frustrations over being bullied as a child into her music. After a show that ended with her two bandmates arguing over whether or not her music was any good, completely leaving her out of the conversation, Mary was approached by a green haired woman who had been in the audience. Introducing herself as Pizzazz, this woman told Mary that her music had caught her interest and invited her to join the band she was putting together. After Pizzazz noted that she seemed to have a storm inside her, Mary took on the stage name Stormer and became the second member of The Misfits. Our Songs Are Better: Part 1 Our Songs Are Better: Part 2 Stormer accompanied Pizzazz as they scouted Roxy Pelligrini and Jetta, thus fully assembling The Misfits. Our Songs Are Better: Part 1

At an early Misfits show, a heckler insulted Stormer's weight, leading to Pizzazz diving into the audience and begin beating him up. After she was arrested, Stormer posted Pizzazz's bail and thanked her for defending her like that but also told her she can't just go around beating up everyone who's mean to her. Pizzazz disagreed with that, leaving Stormer somewhat in shock. Our Songs Are Better: Part 2

Top of the charts[edit | edit source]

Within a few years, The Misfits had established themselves as one of the biggest bands in the world. After playing their newest song Attack of the Night on Lin-Z Pierce's show, Stormer told Pizzazz to shush when she began to badmouth Lin-Z after an awkward interview between the two of them regarding the upcoming Mistfits VS! battle of the bands competition. In the green room, while the rest of her bandmates were complaining about the lack of competition from the other bands in the contest, Stormer brought their attention to a rather impressive submission from Jem and the Holograms. While Pizzazz flew into a rage, Stormer complimented The Holograms' musical talents and also recognized their keytarist Kimber from her blog. Showtime: Part Two Pizzazz eventually got angry enough that she threw her bandmates into the hall outside the green room. While Jetta and Roxy tried to pin the blame on each other, Stormer told both of them to shut up. Rio Pacheco: Boy Reporter

Stormer soon got to meet Kimber at a signing for The Misfits' new single and complimented her on her band's submission. While they talked, Stormer accepted Kimber's invitation to a coffee date once she got done with the signing. Showtime: Part Two Pizzazz and the other Misfits spotted the two of them together and ran in to break up the date. Reconvening at Pizzazz's home, Stormer was chewed out by her bandmates for going on a date with "the enemy". Later, as The Misfits practiced, Stormer defended herself and bandmates when Pizzazz told them they sounded weak. Showtime: Part Three

After receiving a text from her, Stormer met back up with Kimber. Letting Kimber know about how her bandmates think that she betrayed them by going on that first date, Stormer sadly tells Kimber she needs to end their relationship. Though Kimber begs her not to, Stormer insists and leaves, but when Kimber chases after her and looks deep into her eyes, Stormer can't resist but pull her in for a kiss. This rendezvous with Kimber made her late meeting the rest of The Misfits as they got ready to give a performance on Super Late with Rick Tenenbaum, her uncharacteristic lateness earning her another chewing out from the three of them. Showtime: Part Four

When Pizzazz learned of the "accident" (which was actually caused by Misfits groupie Clash) that had occurred at The Holograms' performance at the charity benefit for the Starlight Foundation, Stormer read the newspaper article about the incident to her bandmates after said paper was thrown at her by Pizzazz. Having continued their relationship in secret, Stormer and Kimber met up and briefly spent time together at the carnival that had been built as part of the Misfits VS! competition. They later ran into each other again, this time accompanied by their respective bands. Recognizing Clash from having run into her at the Starlight benefit, Kimber demanded to know how Stormer could try to hurt her and her sisters like that, though Stormer had no idea what Kimber was talking about. The situation eventually escalated into a full on food fight between the two bands, Stormer taking a piece of cake thrown by Aja to the face. Showtime: Part Five After a meeting with executives from Misfits label 5x5 Records where The Holograms were disqualified from the competition, Stormer demanded to know if Clash really did sabotage The Holograms' show. Wanting to keep some measure of plausible deniability, Pizzazz told Clash not to answer that before threatening to kick Stormer out of the band if she continued her relationship with Kimber. Not replying to the threat, Stormer merely got up and walked to the back of the bus and began frantically calling and texting Kimber, the Hologram feeling far too heartbroken to respond. To make up for The Holograms no longer being part of the show, Stormer and the rest of The Misfits played a full set after the battle of the bands. However, as they took the stage, The Holograms began playing a show of their own in an abandoned warehouse directly across from where The Misfits were, stealing the audience away from them. Showtime: Part Six

After this incident, Stormer and the rest of The Misfits met with Elise Harcourt, the head of 5x5 Records, who was extremely unhappy with how the Misfits VS! competition had played out. Throughout the meeting, Stormer did her best to keep Pizzazz from flying off the handle. Later, Stormer went to the bookstore and invited Kimber there to join her. When Kimber never showed up, she began working on writing a new song, Shades of Blue expressing her feelings about their relationship. Viral: Part One When The Misfits next met and tried playing the song, Pizzazz felt that they needed to speed it up, as a ballad like that would be out of place on the album they were working on. Stormer defended the song as is but Pizzazz insisted that they either had to change it our drop it from the album, leading to Stormer telling Pizzazz to stop acting like she was the boss. Though things briefly got tense, Pizzazz calmly admitted that it was a good song but again repeated that it would be too out of place on the album and that Stormer was attached to it because she wrote it about Kimber. Eventually the two came to an agreement that they'll find a place for it as is on their next album. Soon after this, Stormer was excited to learn that she and her bandmates would be going on a brief west coast tour. Viral: Part Two

When The Misfits sneaked into The Holograms' Halloween and music video premier party with the intention to crash it as revenge for stealing their audience, Stormer was the only one among her bandmates to ask if what they were doing was right. Being told to hush by Jetta and Roxy, Stormer then spotted Kimber from across the room and ran off to another part of the party, feeling unable to deal with that. However, Kimber soon found her and ran after her. Tearing up, Stormer again told Kimber that she had nothing to do with the sabotaging of the Starlight benefit and was surprised to hear that Kimber believed her. Having made up, Stormer and Kimber decided to continue their relationship and agreed that they would stop keeping it a secret. After the party, Stormer called a cab for herself, Roxy, and Jetta as Pizzazz had taken off early without even telling her bandmates after receiving the news that The Holograms would be opening for The Misfits on their tour. Viral: Part Three As Pizzazz's emergency contact, Stormer was the first to know that Pizzazz was hospitalized after a car accident that same night. Rushing to the hospital, Stormer was met there by Rio, who'd been the one to find Pizzazz in the first place. The two of them sat together as they discussed Pizzazz, Stormer beating herself up for being mean to Pizzazz earlier in the night after she left her bandmates behind when she evidently trusted her enough to list her as an emergency contact. They continued talking for a while longer, Rio letting it slip that he knew about Stormer and Kimber's relationship, before he eventually went to go tell Roxy and Jetta the news about Pizzazz as Stormer couldn't get a hold of them. Before he left, Stormer assured Rio she'd be okay sitting in the hospital alone as she'd called her brother. Rio Pacheco: Boy Reporter

It takes a lot to survive[edit | edit source]

A few months later, Stormer and the rest of The Misfits attended a holiday party being thrown by 5x5 Records. As part of a plan put together by Harcourt to get the bands used to working together, both The Misfits and The Holograms drew names for a Secret Santa and pulled someone from the other band. Stormer and Shana pulled each other. Though her bandmates were totally opposed to having to get gifts for their rivals, Stormer knew from Kimber that The Holograms were getting stuff for them and used this information to convince them to do the same. When Christmas eventually came, the fashionable Shana (with some help from Kimber) had sewn a dress specifically for Stormer and in return Stormer gave her the gift of a new, fancy mannequin. Holiday Special 2015

As their joint tour drew closer, The Misfits and Holograms were called in for one last meeting going over the final dates and to get everyone on the same page. Before the meeting, Kimber had gotten her hands on a vial of powder from a fortune teller that, when mixed into a drink, would help ease the tensions between the two bands. However, Kimber didn't listen to the fortune teller's warning that the mixture became a potent love potion in higher doses and mixed the entire vial into a pitcher of water that was served at the meeting, thus affecting everyone in both bands aside from Jerrica and Jem. As the love potion took hold on her, Stormer found herself falling madly in love with a barista. As her desperate displays of affection to the uninterested woman caught the attention of some nearby fans, Jerrica used Synergy to project a hologram of the barista to lure Stormer into the backseat of her car, hopefully keeping her from embarrassing herself further. Once Jetta was caught, she was locked in the back of Stormer's car as well, Rio keeping an eye on them until the potion wore off. Once everything was back to normal, footage of Stormer grovelling at the barista's feet made it onto the news, her bizarre behavior being explained away as a marketing stunt for the tour. Valentine Special

Months after her accident, Pizzazz was still recovering from the injuries she'd sustained to her vocal chords. With a tour on the horizon, the Misfits needed a new lead singer. On the day they were scheduled to watch the auditions, Stormer and the others were at Pizzazz's home, wanting to check up see if she was feeling any more able to sing. However, even after Stormer gave her some hot tea with honey, Pizzazz was still in a scratchy voiced depression and Stormer and the others had to make up excuses on the spot to explain why they all suddenly had to leave. As they headed towards the recording studio, the three of them promised that they'd stick together and stand by Pizzazz. As they listened to the auditions, each one somehow being worse than the last, Stormer and the others bemoaned the lack of talented singers just as Clash arrived with the coffee Roxy had asked her to get. Stormer chewed her bandmate at for letting her know that Pizzazz was being replaced, but Clash promised not to tell so long as she could audition. As Stormer broke the news to Clash that she didn't fare any better than those who came before, one last auditioner arrived in the form of Clash's friend Blaze. Dark Jem: Part One Blaze ended up crushing her audition and was invited back to see how well she could sing with the band. After she proved to work well with them, Stormer informed her that she'd gotten the job but, before they made anything official, Stormer asked Blaze if she was absolutely sure she could handle the workload of being a Misfit. Suddenly seeming unsure, Blaze stepped out of the room for a moment. When returned with Clash in tow, Blaze stated she had something to tell the three of them and revealed that she was transgender. Stormer and the others had no problem with this and were more concerned with whether or not they could count on Blaze to be punctual or not. With that out of the way, the new Misfits began practicing in anticipation for their tour.

As the tour began, Stormer visited Pizzazz's house, the former frontwoman by now having learned she'd been replaced. Though she repeatedly rang the doorbell and pleaded with Pizzazz to let her in, Stormer never got an answer. Before she left though, Stormer said that even if they have a new singer, the Misfits just aren't the same without her and asked that she come join them once she was healed up. After hitting the road and making a stop to get something to eat, the Misfits and Holograms disembarked from their respective tour buses and it was here Stormer saw Kimber and the others sporting an extremely different, much edgier look. After Kimber mostly blew her off at the restaurant, Stormer tried to approach Kimber again backstage at their first show of the tour but again found her mostly ignoring her despite the fact that they were supposedly a couple again. Because of the way the Holograms were acting, Stormer and the other Misfits hung out backstage with Rio while their opening act played. Dark Jem: Part Two As the Misfits prepared to play, Stormer checked with Blaze to see if she was ready. Even though she was and the other veteran Misfits played their hearts out, the audience seemed completely indifferent to them, only staring at them with half-lidded, strangely yellow eyes. As they finished without getting so much as a single cheer from their audience, Stormer reassured Blaze that this wasn't her fault and that there must be something else going on. Dark Jem: Part Three

Backstage, Stormer, Jetta, Roxy, and Eric all loudly argued with one another as to what had gone wrong but the four of them all stopped when Blaze and Clash entered the room, not wanting their panic to freak out the newcomer. Once they were calmed down, Stormer bemoaned the fact that they had no idea what they actually did and therefore have no idea how to fix things. When Eric stepped in and told the girls that his contacts at 5x5 were acting as if they were zombies mind controlled by Jem, he singled out Stormer when he told the Misfits to stay away from the Holograms until they figure out what was going on. Stormer took offense at this and stood up for her right to maintain whatever kind of social life she wanted but got little support from her bandmates, Jetta and Roxy telling her she needed to listen to her own advice about Misfits sticking together and move on past Kimber as Kimber had clearly moved on past her. In the middle of the night though, Stormer was awoken by a text from Kimber apologizing for her rude behavior. As she sleepily got off her bus, Stormer found herself suddenly embraced and kissed by Kimber, who apologized profusely for being so rude earlier. When Stormer asked what had happened, Kimber explained that, as much as it hurt her to say so, she couldn't tell Stormer. To Kimber's surprise, Stormer accepted this answer, but not without also saying that she hoped that one day they would move beyond the need for keeping secrets like that from one another. As the two women reaffirmed their love for one another, Kimber told Stormer she needed to go so she could do something that would stop her from hurting her like that ever again. Dark Jem: Part Four The next day, Stormer would prove to not be the only one breaking the "No Holograms" promise, as Blaze and Clash had both listened to a recording of the Holograms' opening act and turned into "Dark" emotionless versions of themselves. While Jetta and Roxy kept them restrained, Stormer took off to find the other, back-to-normal Holograms to see if they could help. After getting Blaze and Clash restrained and under watch until the mind control they were under wore off, Stormer asked Jerrica what she meant when she mentioned they might be able to jolt them out of it as well. Jerrica explained that any sufficiently emotionally charged experience, positive or negative, should be enough to break them out from under the spell of Silica. After Techrat popped in to explain the mechanics he believed was behind the mind control, Stormer was horrified and asked Jetta and Roxy to do whatever they needed to to get Blaze and Clash back to normal. Once they were themselves again, everyone's minds turned to trying to think of a way to get the rest of Silica's victims back to normal as well. While Stormer didn't have any ideas, a familiar voice suddenly spoke up with a suggestion, Pizzazz having returned just in time to help save the day! Dark Jem: Part Five

Overjoyed, Stormer ran to Pizzazz and embraced her with Roxy and Jetta. After this, Pizzazz began asking the Holograms where on Earth Jem was right now, though Stormer tried to keep her temperamental bandmate reeled in a bit. While the Holograms ran off to "find" Jem, Stormer and the other Misfits sat down for a meeting to address Blaze and what her role in the band would be going forward. After Pizzazz stated Blaze could stay as a guitarist while she took back her place as lead singer, the Holograms returned with Jem. Then, the two bands began working out a plan by which they would break Silica and The Sickness' captive audience out of their mind control by shocking them with the sight of the Misfits and Holograms working together. The plan was a success, with the bands providing enough cover to allow Jerrica to successfully sneak backstage and shut down Silica's computer. While their bands played together, Stormer and Kimber shared a kiss on stage, delighting the many "Stimber" shippers in the audience. Dark Jem: Part Six

I love a scandal[edit | edit source]

With Pizzazz healed up, the Misfits were able to return to the studio to continue recording their next album. As they rehearsed one of their new songs, Pizzazz stopped in the middle to tell Stormer that she wasn't quite happy with one of the lines she'd written. While Stormer wasn't quite sure how to make it more to Pizzazz's liking, Blaze quickly spoke up with a suggestion that both her fellow bandmates preferred to Stormer's original. After they finished recording, Stormer countered Jetta's complaint about how she and Roxy are never allowed to write lyrics by telling her that's just because they're both terrible at it but Pizzazz broke them up by telling everyone they were going out for a night on the town. Stormer, however, couldn't follow them, as she already had plans to meet up with Kimber, her sisters, and their significant others. Though she tried to defend herself from Pizzazz's criticisms for choosing the Holograms over her bandmates, Stormer was shut down as the other Misfits took their exit.

While heading to the beach house the Holograms had rented, Stormer was distracted from trying to read her GPS while driving through the woods and ended up crashing her car after swerving to avoid hitting a deer. After getting out, Stormer's lack of cell reception quickly became the least of her worries when a bear suddenly emerged from behind a tree! Ch-Ch-Changes: Part One Having noticed that Stormer was missing, the Holograms and their boyfriends went looking for her, with Jerrica and Rio ending up accidentally rear-ending Stormer's crashed car. They soon found a tattered piece of Stormer's dress on a tree branch, followed quickly by the sound of her screaming after a bear roared. Heading towards her scream, the two found Stormer terrified huddled behind a bush. As Stormer explained what had happened, the bear that was menacing her reappeared, followed by another, larger bear... that seemingly disappeared after it scared off the other one! Heading back toward the road, Stormer and the others met up with Aja and Craig, who Stormer was quite relieved to see. Kimber then showed up as well and embraced her girlfriend. Back at the house, Stormer explained what had happened to Kimber, including the detail about the two bears, one of which she now realized was a grizzly, which aren't supposed to exist in California anymore. Suddenly seeming quite cross with Jerrica, Kimber pulled her sister aside, taking the other Holograms with her. Now alone with her brother, Rio, and Shana's boyfriend Tony, Stormer voted against Tony's suggestion that they check up on their significant others once they'd begun to be gone for longer than expected. Ch-Ch-Changes: Part Two

Back at the studio, Stormer and the other Misfits continued practicing but were still having trouble integrating Blaze's musical stylings into their sound. The five of them were then sent out to lunch by Harcourt. While at lunch, Stormer and her bandmates showed concern for Pizzazz after she seemed to start coming close to blowing up at a group of pushy fans. Enter The Stingers: Part One Unbeknownst to her, Stormer wasn't invited to a band meeting where Pizzazz broke the news to the other Misfits that Riot of The Stingers had gotten the Misfits dropped from their label as a romantic gesture towards Jem. Therefore, Stormer got the news from Riot himself when he showed up at the Benton household unannounced while she was also there preparing for a date with Kimber. Upon hearing the news, Stormer immediately excused herself from the room and took off in tears. Enter The Stingers: Part Two

While Pizzazz continued to leave her out of the loop, Stormer met up with Kimber at a coffee shop and tearfully vented her fears about what the Misfits getting dropped meant for the future of her and her bandmates' careers and asked Kimber if she and the other Holograms could do anything to help. As Kimber regretfully told her she didn't know if they could do anything helpful, a group of paparazzi started hounding them, forcing the two to take off running. Once they got away, Kimber promised Stormer that she'd see what she and the other Holograms could do to help. Enter The Stingers: Part Three

Let's blow this town[edit | edit source]

While at Pizzazz's Malibu home, Stormer was shanghaied into playing referee for a game of Misfits volleyball. After Pizzazz spoke to Eric Raymond about the way forward for the band after Five by Five, she revealed to Stormer and the others that the only way to save the band was a Misfits reality TV show. Though Stormer was initially opposed to the idea, she eventually agreed despite her reservations. Our Songs Are Better: Part 1

Those reservations flared up, however, when the producers of the show suggested that — in addition to the "lesbian thing" she had with Kimber — they should focus on her "desire to lose weight", with sponsors lined up to tie into that "story". Angry at their implication that she should be ashamed of her body and feel like she needed to change, Stormer immediately left the production meeting, refusing to sign the contract to be on the show.

On the first day of filming, Stormer met with Pizzazz in her house (where the Misfits would be staying for the duration of the show), confessing that she hadn't signed and that, though she tried to hide to not react to public ridicule over her weight, it still effected her — and she wasn't sure she could go through with the show. With her bandmate's support, however, she decided that she would take part in order to show the world what it was like to live as a fat woman who wasn't ashamed of her body. Our Songs Are Better: Part 2

Frustrated by being cooped up together in Pizzazz's house with the other Misfits, Stormer defended Blaze's right to leave on her own time after a rehearsal session. Our Songs Are Better: Part 3

Though Jerrica vetoed Stormer coming along with the Holograms on their Hawaii vacation/charity show, seeing the reality show's camera crew as a deal-breaker, she headed out to Maui airport anyway, believing she had ditched the cameras by staying in a Los Angeles hotel. Though Kimber and the others were happy to see her, the camera crew had, in fact, followed her.Truly Outrageous: Part One

Following a luau dinner, Stormer ordered a car to take her back to her hotel, but was interrupted when Rio stormed out, taking a car to the airport. Encouraging Kimber and her sisters to go and check on Jerrica, Stormer headed back to her hotel to get her things; but while she was away, a letter supposedly from her inviting Kimber to a secret rendezvous was posted through the Holograms' door. When Stormer returned, she was horrified that Kimber had left, and called her girlfriend while the other Holograms searched for the letter; however, Kimber didn't pick up. Truly Outrageous: Part Two

Stormer snapped angrily at Aja when she called the Holograms' local contact Keani Akana, assuming she was just dealing with the show, but Aja pointed out that — as a local — Keani could help them search. As Keani asked questions to figure out who might be responsible for the letter, Raya realised that the neighboring Stingers Minx and Rapture must be responsible, and ran over to confront them. Though they initially feigned innocence, the Stingers quickly admitted that they had sent the letter as a prank, intending to have Kimber fight Stormer after being "stood up"; when Stormer angrily yelled that she hadn't come back, the Stingers realised their mistake, and took Stormer and the Holograms to the cliff they had sent Kimber to. Finding Kimber having fallen down the cliff, the Holograms got her back to hospital, where she was able to recover from her concussion. After the concert, Stormer and the Holograms returned to California. Truly Outrageous: Part Three

After Jetta revealed on the show that she wasn't actually British, Stormer was ambushed by reporters demanding to know what she had to say ("no comment"). When Pizzazz confronted Jetta, Stormer and the other Misfits were there to hear her explanation; Stormer suggested that she explain it in the show's confessional or on a talk show, but Jetta refused, seeing it as none of the public's business. After Roxy admitted that Jetta had revealed the truth of her own secret of being unable to read, Stormer and the others all joined in for a group hug to comfort her. When Eric Raymond walked in and was horrified by the teary-eyed sight of the Misfits hugging each other, Stormer invited him to join them, and was soundly refuted.

Some time later, the Misfits recorded a music video for their newest song, "Not for the Faint", and Lin-Z Pierce's show to promote it — as well as their new music label, Misfits Music. Our Songs Are Better: Part 5

Prior to a Starlight Foundation charity concert, Stormer, Craig and Tony arranged to have a movie night in with the Holograms. In the immediate aftermath of the concert, however, Stormer ended up standing awkwardly by while the other Misfits and Holograms started screaming at each other, Pizzazz still blaming Jem for the Misfits getting kicked from Five by Five. When Kimber asked if she could get Pizzazz under control, Stormer was irritated, having been unable to do that for years.

After the argument was forcibly broken up by fans snapping photographs, the Misfits made to leave, only for Pizzazz to storm back in to argue more with Jem. On entry, the Misfits witnessed Techrat standing by while the Holograms disappeared through a huge, glowing portal. Infinite: Part One Though the Misfits struggled to believe Techrat's "sci-fi novel" explanation of being from another universe that he needed Jem and the Holograms to help, Pizzazz and Stormer insisted on the Misfits going through the portal after them — Stormer because she was worried for Kimber's safety, and Pizzazz because she was unwilling to let something as small as Jem being in another universe stop her from getting what was coming to her.

After falling through the portal and ending up collapsed in a pile, the Misfits and the Holograms were shown the city outside: a seemingly-utopian "Jem-World" where Jem and the Holograms were the ultimate celebrities... but, as Techrat explained, only the "one percent" had access to the city, everyone else living beyond the wall. When Pizzazz brought up that Jem didn't seem to be present, Stormer was shocked into silence when Jerrica Benton sang "MoreMoreMore", revealing that she was secretly Jem.

While Techrat took the Holograms to see their father, the Misfits went to investigate the situation on the other side of the wall; Kimber kissed Stormer goodbye, frustrating Pizzazz, who wanted to get on with things. On reaching the top of the wall, however, the Misfits were horrified to see an overgrown, ruined landscape with no civilisation in sight. Infinite: Part Two

On reaching the bottom of the wall and taking off the Jemstar earrings that Techrat had given them, the Misfits found their way to a ramshackle, struggling town far worse off than the city behind the wall. There, they found, to their shock, the Jem-World versions of Kimber and Stormer playing a modified version of the Misfits' song Attack of the Night, raising money to try to effect change. Speaking to the duo, the Misfits explained where they had come from, with the two Stormers bonding over their mutual desire for a chai latte; but when Pizzazz demanded to know where the Misfits were, the alternate Stormer explained that her world's Pizzazz leaking the Holograms' secret had led to the death of most of the Misfits and the dystopian inequality of the world they were now in.

The Misfits were soon contacted through Stormer's earrings by Jerrica, who had them return to the city through the south wall entrance; Infinite: Part Four the band brought the alternate Kimber and Stormer with them, and their counterparts happily watched their tearful reunion with Emmett Benton. Putting the Holograms' plan into motion, the two bands and their allies infiltrated the site of a surprise Jemcorp pop-up concert so that Emmett and Techrat could exploit the Silica glitch in the Jem-World version of Synergy to deactivate the concert holograms and take their place on stage. There, Jerrica deactivated the Jem hologram and revealed the truth — that Jemcorp had been pacifying them with fake versions of the Holograms — to the people. Infinite: Part Five

Together, Kimber and Stormer persuaded their Jemworld counterparts to come out onto the stage and tell the civilians the truth of what Jemcorp had done to the Misfits and Holograms. With Pizzazz and Jem whipping the crowds into a frenzy, the people were convinced to demand that the walls be opened up and the outside world be allowed in. With the world changed for the better, the Holograms and Misfits said their goodbyes before returning to their own world, where the Misfits (somewhat reluctantly) agreed to keep the Holograms' secret for the foreseeable future. Infinite: Part Six

Jemcorp Universe[edit | edit source]

In an alternate timeline where Emmett Benton never died, Stormer was the first of the Misfits to learn about Synergy; however, her carelessness while using the holograms with Kimber led to Pizzazz finding out and exposing the technology to the world... which just made the Holograms even more famous. The technology soon became regulated and used to segregate the "haves" from the "have-nots", something which the Misfits protested; in response, Jemcorp caused and explosion at Pizzazz's home, killing the Misfits. Stormer, however, survived thanks to being with Kimber at the time, and the Holograms helped her to escape the city.

At some point, Stormer lost her arm, and had it replaced with a metal prosthetic. Soon after, the Holograms were also killed by Jemcorp, replaced with actual holograms; only Kimber managed to escape, and joined up with Stormer on the outside of the wall around the city. Together, Kimber and Stormer wrote music and performed to keep people's hopes up, as well as raising money and organizing for the resistance against Jemcorp.

Stormer and Kimber were eventually found by the Misfits of another universe, who had been brought to theirs in order to take down Jemcorp. Infinite: Part Four The two were smuggled into the city by the alternate Misfits, where they were reunited with Kimber's father, before infiltrating the upcoming pop-up concept so that Emmett could hack into Synergy and exploit the Silica glitch to take control of the holograms. Infinite: Part Five

During the concert, Stormer and Kimber went onto the stage alongside their alternate-universe counterparts, revealing the truth of how Jemcorp had had their bandmates killed and replaced. Their speech helped push the citizens of the city into banding together to demand the wall be taken down; in the aftermath, Emmett accepted Stormer as a surrogate daughter as the alternate Holograms and Misfits returned to their own universe. Infinite: Part Six

Jem Babies[edit | edit source]

After a particularly exhausting concert, Kimber had a cinematically influenced dream about The Holograms and The Misfits as babies living in a nursery under the care of Nanny Synergy. When the two bands of infants argued over which group their new pet kitten would be named after, Stormer suggested they compromise and name her Mis-gram, which Shana then refined into Miss Gram. While she was taking her turn playing with Miss Gram, Stormer was approached by Kimber who shyly asked if she could have her turn. Kimber then shared her idea of the two bands working together to put on a show for Miss Gram with Stormer, something that would hopefully allow The Holograms and Misfits to put aside their differences. Agreeing to her plan, Stormer and Kimber got to work writing the lyrics to their new song. Their plan of bringing their bands together proved to be (more or less) a success. Outrageous Annual 2015

The Starlights' fan fiction[edit | edit source]

In the Jem and the Holograms fan fiction written by The Starlights, Stormer was the most trusted advisor of Majestrix Pizzazz, serving as the moral voice to the queen of the universe. However, when Stormer fell in love Kimber, a member of a band of rebels who opposed Pizzazz's rule, she found herself banished to the Planet of Lost Souls. She remained there for months, her lover having no idea where she was until she had a dream of them being reunited on the Planet of Lost Souls, something she speculated might have been due to Stormer telepathically sending her a message. Believing that Stormer may be able to help them put an end to Pizzazz's tyrannical rule, Kimber and her fellow rebels began working to rescue her. Once they knew the secret to passing the otherwise impenetrable mists that surrounded the Planet of Lost Souls, The Holograms found Stormer almost immediately after landing their ship.

Taking her in, Stormer revealed to The Holograms that the reason that Pizzazz's behavior had become increasingly evil was that before banishing her, Pizzazz had torn out her own heart so that she would never have to know pain like Stormer's betrayal had caused her ever again. Using her psychic powers, Shana discovered that Pizzazz hid her heart away in the ball and chain she'd made Stormer wear as part of her banishment and that the only way to get to it was if Stormer's tears fell onto it. Drawing upon the pity she felt for her friend to make herself cry, her tears did indeed cause the ball to melt away and reveal Pizzazz's missing heart inside, but the heart then quickly crumbled into ash. With their plan to reunite Pizzazz with her heart out the window, rebel leader Jem believed music might be the solution to their problem. Setting down on Planet Pizzazz, The Holograms began playing before Stormer came out and took the microphone, singing a soulful ballad that touched Pizzazz so much that it caused her heart to regrow! With this, Pizzazz became a benevolent leader and peace was finally restored to the galaxy. Outrageous Annual 2017
