Prysmos, home to the Prysmosian people, was a planet that orbited three stars.

Fiction[edit | edit source]

According to legend, Prysmos was forged from the heart of the goddess of Heskedor and stationed at the centre of time and space. These texts became known as "The Mysteries" and formed the basis of Prysmosian religion. Good Men TFWikiFavicon.png

In truth however, Prysmosian history was a singular temporal loop for during the planet's prehistory, the citizenry of New Prysmos materialized in the untamed wilderness of their homeworld after they had been inadvertently hurled back through time during the evacuation of Cybertron by the Talisman. A World and a Future

Prysmosian civilization was initially based around magic with the scientific concepts being viewed as false powers. However as time passed and technology progressed, the Age of Magic was all but forgotten and a thriving, technological civilization emerged on the planet. The only known survivor of this bygone age was the technophobic sorcerer Merklynn who sought to return his world to its "natural" state. To that end, he fashioned a spell that resulted in the Trinary Re-Alignment, shutting down all technology on the planet and returning magic to its previous high standing. Merklynn then created the Visionaries, to whom he bestowed magical artifacts of great power. Schismatic TFWikiFavicon.png

At some point during the 1700s, Cybertron No More TFWikiFavicon.png Prysmos was destroyed. Though Merklynn believed the destruction to be the result of his improperly created spell causing the ternary stars to fall out of alignment, Schismatic TFWikiFavicon.png the true cause of the planet's destruction had been the creation of Unicron, the energies of the Talisman reaching across space/time and absorbing the magic of Prysmos for fuel, destroying the world as a result. The few surviving Prysmosians (somewhere between 10,000 and 11,000 individuals) fled to space. Cybertron No More TFWikiFavicon.png Seeking to make amends for his misdeed, Merklynn began searching the galaxy for artifacts of great magical power that would allow him to restore Prysmos, being to drawn to the planet Earth, shortly before the onset of World War II, and concealing himself as "Garrison Kreiger". His chance came when Joe Colton intended to take the Talisman to Cybertron to try and destroy the Transformer race. First Strike #0 TFWikiFavicon.png His plan however was only a partial success, only managing to create the city of New Prysmos. First Strike #6 TFWikiFavicon.png A handful of Prysmosian refugees soon came to inhabit the city while the Talisman continued to burrow its way down to Vector Sigma to try to complete the terraforming. Schismatic TFWikiFavicon.png As a result of the Spectral Knights joining forces with the Cybertronians, only a small portion of Cybertron's surface was terraformed into a Prysmosian environment, large enough to contain the remainder of the species. Soon after however, the Autobot Bumblebee discovered the true circumstances behind Prysmos's death from Omega Supreme. Stranger Eons TFWikiFavicon.png Our Finest TFWikiFavicon.png
