Sophie Campbell is an American comic book writer, artist, and kaiju enthusiast. In 2015 she and writer Kelly Thompson relaunched Hasbro's long dormant Jem and the Holograms franchise as a comic book for IDW Publishing, Campbell redesigning the series' main cast in her distinctive, dynamic style. She drew the book's first six issues before taking a break and returning to draw the "Dark Jem" arc that took place from issues 11 to 16. She also cowrote Jem issue 12 and the third issue of the spin off series Jem: The Misfits with Thompson. She also contributed a story that was both written and drawn by her to the first issue of the Jem and the Holograms: Dimensions anthology series.

In addition to Jem, Campbell is also known for her work on IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, rebooting Rob Liefeld's Glory with writer Joe Keatinge, and for her creator owned series such as Shadoweyes and Wet Moon.
