"Sir? Sir? Why did we build our own version of that thing that two people on foot seemed to have very little trouble destroying?"

What seems to be in the neighborhood of 10 feet tall, you'd think would walk like a chicken, has a chaingun and maybe some sort of weird claw thing, and is so far only cool in theory? Why, it's the G.I. Joe Steel Marauder mech suit probably!

Fiction[edit | edit source]

A Steel Marauder was stored at G.I. Joe's base on Governor's Island. Homefront, Part 1

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The Steel Marauder goes unnamed in it's single cameo appearance. By that virtue it might actually be the Iron Hammer from G.I. Joe: Sigma Six, which the Steel Marauder toy was redecoed from, but the colors don't match like they do with the Steel Marauder.
  • The Cobra Deviant mech, the toy of which shares a mold with the Steel Marauder, had previously appeared during the Cobra Command story arc in IDW Joe's second volume and had the Steel Marauder's chaingun instead of the Deviant toy's unique weapons. Any in-universe link between the Cobra Deviant and the Steel Marauder is unknown.
