Where it's dark as a dungeon
And as damp as the dew
Where the dangers are double
And pleasures are few
Where the rain never falls
And the sun never shines
It's as dark as a dungeon
Way down in the mines

An innocuous growth in the Blue Mountains, the history of the Thrail Mineral Mine was shaped by unseen alien hands and ultimately became one of the most vital assets in the Solstar Order/Dire Wraith war.

Fiction[edit | edit source]

In Elonia's prehistory, the Titan Emissary crash landed beneath what would become the Thrail Mineral Mine. The First Who Was Named TFWikiFavicon.png 600,000 years ago, Shockwave fired a sample of Ore-12 at the mine. Both the Titan and the ore would eventually be buried by tectonic shifting. By the late 18th/early 19th century, the mine had been closed due to the waterlogging.

After Rom, Fy-Laa and Livia had become Solstar cadets, they were dispatched to guard the mine in the event the Dire Wraiths took over it as a command post. The Dire Wraiths did indeed arrive, intending to seize the alien ore, the cause of their invasion of Elonia in the first place. During the fighting, Rom caused the group to fall into the mine where he and his friends became the first Space Knights. After they had defeated the Wraith group, the Solstar Order commenced mining operations to extract larger quantities of the alien mineral. Cold Fire

When Unicron began attacking Elonia, the mine's surface was ripped away revealing Emissary's paralyzed form. Our Darkest TFWikiFavicon.png
