The end result of Romana's blind date with Doctor Manhattan.

The Pharoid race has always enjoyed gifts, be they empaths, psychics or precognition. No gift could be greater however than the ability to travel through space and time itself. So removed are these beings than the rest of the Pharoid race that they have come to be regarded as a separate species in their own right, becoming known as the Time Travelers.

Despite their great power and possible omniscience, the Time Travelers are just people and every bit as fallible as the lesser species. And they have made mistakes in their lifetimes, catastrophic ones.

Fiction[edit | edit source]

The greatest of the Pharoids, the Time Travelers were revered throughout Microspace for their awesome power. Their relation to the Pharoids afforded their less evolved ancestors a position of great prestige within the cosmic community. Micronauts #3 To aid in their voyages through the time vortex, the Time Travelers constructed Time Chambers. Their laws forbade any of their number to enerchange with the ships. Micronauts #9 Monuments to the Time Travelers could be found in Pharoid temples. Upon discovering a group in such a temple, Red Falcon believed the beings to be speaking to him and claimed to see the future battles he would win. Micronauts #4

The Time Travelers eventually left en masse, promising to return before they had ever left. Micronauts #3 While they were away, the Time Travelers attempted to enerchange with time itself. An attempt that backfired horribly and wound up creating the Entropy Cloud. Micronauts #4 Wrath of Karza #1 At least one Time Traveler was rendered insane from the effort, Wrath of Karza #3 while others learnt of Micronus Prime. Micronauts #6 Micronauts: Revolution

After being stabbed through the chest, a Time Traveler appeared to Oziron Rael and directed him into the Entropy Cloud stating a great destiny lied ahead of him. Micronauts #6 Wrath of Karza #5 As the Micronauts traveled through the Cloud, another Time Traveler appeared to dispatch the Repto before directing them forward to the heart of the Cloud. Micronauts: Revolution He reappeared after they discovered Micronus Prime and directed them through the Prime's spacebridge when it opened. O Ship of State TFWikiFavicon.png

After Larissa had seemingly perished, a grief stricken Baron Karza offered to tell Shazraella about his experience with the Time Travelers. Wrath of Karza #2 He revealed that the Mad Time Traveler was at the center of the Cloud and guiding its actions but owing to his powers, the Cloud could not be stopped without Microspace's own existence being negated in the process. Wrath of Karza #3

Shazraella later spoke to a Time Traveler who offered her the information she needed for a victory and granted her a portion of Time Traveler power. Wrath of Karza #4 She used her newfound powers to warp time around the Autobots before seemingly vaporizing Oziron Rael and losing control of her abilities. She was only stopped when Oz returned, now a Time Traveler himself, along with other Time Travelers who separated their maddened brother from Shazraella and sealed him in a Time Chamber. The Time Travelers then proposed a unity between Earth and Microspace to Optimus Prime, swearing they would repair all the damage the Entropy Cloud had caused. Wrath of Karza #5

Alternate timeline[edit | edit source]

In a negated future where the Entropy Cloud had consumed everything, there remained only one Time Traveler who had fled to the Udunax system. When the Entropy Cloud encroached on the system, the Time Traveler acted in defiance of his people's laws and enerchanged with his Time Chamber, using this newfound power to save a handful of the native Kronus from death. The Micronauts later theorized that the act had killed the Time Traveler but as he had been enerchanged with his Time Chamber at the time of death, the fusion had created the Sentient Time Chamber. Micronauts #9
