Overview[edit | edit source]

Main article: Jem: Infinite

After coming into conflict with The Misfits yet again, the Holograms are approached by Techrat, who's acting even stranger than usual. Claiming to be from an alternate universe, this Techrat claims that he needs the Holograms' help saving his Earth. Though the Holograms are slow to believe him, his claim that he's working alongside the girls' late father gets them interested enough to follow him through his mysterious portal.

Arriving in the alternate universe (along with The Misfits), the Holograms discover a world dominated by Synergy's Hologram technology where their faces are everywhere you look. However, this seeming utopia hides the fact that the world is now controlled by Jemcorp and that all those outside the city who can't afford Hologram tech live in extreme poverty. After a heartwarming reunion with the alternate universe version of their father, the group begins working together to make a plan that will allow them to take control of Synergy back from Jemcorp, ultimately deciding to use an exploit involving Silica. While they plan, the Holograms learn the native versions of themselves were killed by Jemcorp when they began to grow uncomfortable with how they were developing Hologram technology and that Jemcorp has been using Holograms to keep up the illusion that the band is still alive.

After joining back up with The Misfits (who left to go explore the world outside the city), the Holograms and Misfits (along with the Jemcorp Universe versions of Kimber and Stormer) disguise themselves as engineers and sneak backstage at the pop-up concert Jemcorp is holding to announce the newest version of the Jemstar earrings to install Silica into Synergy, thus making her whole and allowing her to break free of Jemcorp's influence. The real Holograms then give a performance along with The Misfits during which Jerrica reveals that she's actually been Jem the entire time in front of the crowd.
