Idea and Design Works, LLC (IDW Publishing) is an American comic book publisher founded in 1999 by Ted Adams, Alex Garner, Kris Oprisko, and Robbie Robbins. It currently owns license to publish comic books based on various Hasbro brands. In 2005, IDW launched a new line of Transformers comics which eventually led to the birth of the Hasbro Universe in late 2016. In addition to the properties depicted in the fictional universe, IDW also publishes My Little Pony (which was heavily referenced in Jem series), Dungeons & Dragons, Littlest Pet Shop, Magic: The Gathering and Stretch Armstrong comics.
